Solipsus Template

Click to enlarge Solipsus Blogger template

This is a very uniquely designed Blogger template. It’s main colors are black, shades of brown, and blue. I’m not sure what the name Solipsus actually means but according to the template designer she was inspired by the wacky style of Adult Swim. She made sure to include the hanging head at the top of the header graphic (I’m not quite sure what that means though since I’m not a swimmer).

I love this template, but can’t find the instructions to install it correctly. Is there a way to just copy to just copy the XML code into a page element like other templates allow you to do? Otherwise, your current blog is all messed up…

Also, the toolbar appears after you add something to the page. Again, LOVE IT!

I am unable to upload any template on this site. Here is the error message I receive form my blog at blogspot.com.

Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
XML error message: Content is not allowed in prolog.

Does anyone know how to make these templates work? Thank you!!

You have to “UPLOAD” the template into blogger. If you try to copy and paste you get the error message.

Save the template to your desktop. Sign in to blogger. In layout, at the top of the EDIT HTML section, there is a section that says save the template and then there is a place for you to browse…and upload. That’s what you have to do.

Anyone know why in this Solipsus template, if we add recent post / comments widgets it will not showing anything ?? It’s more like it hidden because of it’s black background.. But, in WordPress this themes is working fine(even the comment color is blue).
