If you’re looking for a new Blogger template, you came at the right time. Hands down, this is the best template we’ve converted here at eBlog Templates. It’s a wonderful web 2.0 popular blog layout with some great built in ad spots (hence the template name) and features.
It’s either a two or 3 column template (you can change it on the fly) so you get the best of both worlds. This Blogger template is what I call a “powerhouse” template since almost all the features you need are already built in. On top of that, it’s quite easy to setup and makes your blog look like a professional site without much effort.
I predict this template will be a top template on this site within a few months, if not weeks. With the amount of effort that went into converting this template and attention to details, I sure hope you appreciate this free amazing new xml Blogger/Blogspot template.
You can see from this screenshot that the actual editor is nicely setup so you don’t need to scroll or try and figure out how to click on the “edit” widget links. Most templates that you download make it tough to edit — not this one!
This template does require some configuration in order to get it working as designed. Please follow the steps below if you’d like it to work properly. I also recommend backing up your existing template before changing just in case you run into any problems. You could also setup a new Blogger blog as a test area and try installing it there first.
When you first install this template the top tabs will not be visible which is normal. You’ll need to go into the Blogger page element layout editor and edit the “Top Tabs” widget. It’s a link list so just add whatever tabs you want. Don’t add a “Home” tab since it will automatically appear once you create and save the tab widget.
The default banner is hardcoded into the template but will disappear when you add anything to this widget. It’s an HTML widget so you can put the banner ad code straight into this box. This widget can also be deleted if you don’t have a 468 x 60 and you’ll just be left with the black header. Here’s the default ad code if you want to use it as a model:
<a href="https://www.linkworth.com?a=10230" target="_blank">
<img src="https://www.linkworth.com/adm/affiliate_manager/affiliate_banners/bann-36.gif" border="0" />
</a>
To get this section working you’ll first need to have a FeedBurner account. If you don’t already have one, please read the “How to Setup FeedBurner on Blogger” article and then come back. Another option is to just delete this widget if you’re not interested in knowing your subscriber count or allowing your readers an easy way to subscribe.
Once you’ve got your FeedBurner account, you’ll need to edit this template code and replace a few parts. Search your template code for the following line <!-- Replace Your RSS, RSS Email Subscription, and Technorati -->
and then look right below that for the rss feed link.
https://feeds.feedburner.com/<strong>YOUR-FEED-NAME-HERE</strong>
. Replace the text in red with your FeedBurner name (i.e. eBlogTemplates is ours)
Next we’ll need to update the subscribe via email link with your feed id. You’ll need to make sure to enable subscribe via email within FeedBurner otherwise this part won’t work.
https://www.feedburner.com/fb/a/emailverifySubmit?feedId=YOUR-FEED-ID-HERE&loc=en_US
After you’ve changed both of these areas save your template and check to see if it works. If you’re having trouble finding your feed name or id, please read our article above or see FeedBurner’s help section to locate it.
These are the three ads in the right sidebar which you need to edit the template code to change. Search the template code for <!– Replace with your 125 x 125 ads –> and then look right below that for the three lines of ad code which are:
<a href="https://www.widgetbucks.com/home.page?referrer=7116002"><img src="https://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh92/eblogtemplates/adstheme/banner-widgetbucks.gif" border="0px" /></a> <a href="https://www.linkworth.com/?a=10230"><img src="https://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh92/eblogtemplates/adstheme/banner-linkworth2.gif" border="0px" /></a> <a href="https://www.text-link-ads.com/?ref=2164"><img src="https://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh92/eblogtemplates/ads/text_link_ads_F_125x125.gif" border="0px" /></a>
If you’ve got ads to place in here, then just paste the code into the template. I recommend signing up for your own Text Link Ads account and using them. Each referral you convert, you get $20 (or $25 I forget). If you don’t have ads to use, you can either leave our default ads or delete this widget altogether.
This one is easy to setup since we’ve already written an entire article dedicated to this. Please see “How to Setup Recent Comments and Posts Widgets” to configure these two widgets.
You’ll need to have MyBlogLog and BlogCatalog accounts if you want to use this widget. The default widget will show the original author’s pictures so please either delete this widget or change the account ids to your own. Once you’ve setup these up, then edit the template code and search for <!-- Replace "2007112507294841" with your your mybloglog id -->
and then replace the account numbers with yours.
This is a really cool feature within this template and the best part is you don’t need to do anything to setup it up! There are some further options if you click on “options >>” on your actual blog page under the widget but that’s it.
You should now have the template all setup and ready to go. I hope you enjoy this beauty and please make sure to keep the footer links intact since numerous hours of my time and the original designer were put into making it. That’s all we ask for giving away this template! Enjoy!
Special thanks to Eric over at Blogging Secret for designing this wonderful template originally for WordPress.
Update (3/3/08) – Per a couple requests and to make this template even more flexible, I’ve changed how underlined links are handled. You can now edit the underlined color via the Blogger “Fonts and Colors” section along with 10+ additional other color variables. Less work for you having to mess with the .css template code now.
Update (3/5/08) – Added in post author tags so you can toggle the “By Author Name” within the posts. Also compressed the css so the file is much slimmer and cleaner.
Update (3/14/08) – The individual posts Google AdSense code block was missing and has now been added to the template code.
Update (4/18/08) – Fixed layout screen so the two widgets aren’t overlapping.

This template rocks. with this template anyone can do anything to customize blog design.
David…thank u very much…u rocks man.
i have given a whole new look to my blog with this template. π
Hi, David. I use your powerhouse and give modification in sidebar-right. I want to create more than one in layout.
But, unfortunately, when I have added
below lsidebar and rsidebar scripts, my new sidebar2 is jumping too far away.
as you can see, the sidebar2 is jumping almost to the bottom.
if I delete , sidebar2 is not floating to right, especially when my blog post is shorter than sidebar
David, can you help me to fix it? I want my sidebar2 and maybe sidebar3, just right below the lsidebar and rsidebar.
Thanks, David.
I appreciate your writing so much.
π
Hi Dave,
I found good blogger templates for a few times ago, but I just meet blogger template with high quality in yours, it’s rock… I appreciate your great job.
First off let me thank you for making such a great template. I have one question. Is there an easy way for me to move the “labels” down below the post instead of just under the title? Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Todd
Hi
David need your help with the ads theme template after i upload the ads theme template to my blogger blog, iam manually changing the adsense pub id, in the text box displaying the template code, after doing this i saved my template and when i view my blog in another window the google ads doesnt appear it just says page not found, and if iam changing the pub id back to the default ( i.e. the one present by default ) then the ads appear properly, so please look into this and help me overcome this problem, i want to start using this template as soon as possible.
I noticed the revision section, and it mentioned that the overlapping widgets are fixed. I downloaded this recently, and my widgets are still overlapping.
Should I completely delete everything, and try again?
hi why cant i find the section in the html to edit 125×125 ads?
@marlimba, it’s a widget so make sure the “expand widget elements” checkbox is checked before trying to edit it.
I expanded the widgets, and I found the 125 ads by searching for the vendor name. Its a brand new blog for me, and I don’t have the traffic yet for the companies you supplied. I was thinking of applying under the other blogs I do, and I have a hard copy of the template (I will make sure I use the code for your credit). In the meantime, I used images for my other blogs to be placed there! π I also searched for the google adsense code, and replaced that within the template as well. My template does still overlap, and I would assume at this point since the adsense code within the template as been replace….I should be okay right?? Picture of the layout I see is in your forums!
I learn so much from playing with templates, and yours was one of the easier ones! Thank you for being so creative, and the sharing with everyone!
Hello!,
Je n’ai aucune question Γ poser, je voulais simplement vous remercier pour l’excellent travail que vous avez effectuΓ©. Ce template est vraiment superbe et, arrivant comme une cerise sur un gΓ’teau, facile Γ installer.
Sorry for speaking french but my english is very poor, very very poor.. π₯
Thanks!
i love this… im currently using it for my 2nd blog…secretly sinning.
Thanks a lot for this beautiful template π I’ve make it my favorite among others.
@karamzin- Sorry I don’t speak french so I can’t understand your comment. Can anyone translate this for us?
@Hannah, that’s great and thanks for sharing! I wish everyone had as much success modifying this template as you did! π
Hi, first i want to say thanks for this wonderful template. I like it when i saw it at the first time. I want to ask you about the adsense ad at the top of the Blog post title. Its appear at the first time i install the template. Is that came from your account or just a demo. Sorry for this silly question:), because i want to sign up for GA. And is it ok if i sign up from edit layout->adsense even the ad are displayed. Are they gonna think that i’m already had an GA account? Sorry again for the question. Please provide me with the answer. Thanks!
How do you move the labels and comment section to the bottom of the post – instead of the top?
Click on the comments widget in your layout and throw it in the the position where you want it.
Moving the comments below the post in the widget does not work. Something is wrong with that widget.
I dont know what the issue is, is it a blogger issue or the template issue. I have the same template on this blog http://thecarsandmore.blogspot.com/
Hi guys,
I dropped you a line telling you this is one fantastic template! It really is beautiful! I had a question, I was trying to add my Feedburner FeedFlare for “digg this” “Stumble This” etc, but this template does not have the .
I am lost in trying to find “Post Metadata (Author, date, comments, etc.)” to place the code. I appreciate your help!!!!
I’m wondering since I’m new to this, do I need to change something in the code to point to my acct. for the Google ad space above the posts? I’ve change some stuff already, but I don’t recall doing that since I tried to follow your directions exactly. Thanks-Tammy
Wow, Why i did not see it before, Now its too late to change my existing template, my blog is 3 years old π
Any way, Just a lovely template it is. Thanks for distributing it for free.
@Tammy, you first need to setup an AdSense account if you don’t already have one. Then you can edit the template code and replace the existing Google AdSense code with your new code. Make sure you convert it using our free ad code converter otherwise it won’t work. You can find the link in the header “Blogger” menu on our site.
@Eric Prince, make sure you check the “Expand Widget Elements” checkbox before searching for the code. It’s on the “Edit HTML” page within Blogger.
@Hannah, you’ll have to edit the template code and move those sections down below the “body” tag. You should only attempt the change if you’re somewhat experienced with Blogger template code.
@Free Download99, That AdSense at the top of the blog posts can be changed to your account. You’ll need to go into the template code and replace that section (or just delete it) with your own AdSense code. You can go ahead and sign up within Blogger…they won’t think you already have an account. Good luck..
Hi David,
Thanks for the response, I do have the expanded widgets on, but I still dont know where to look for the post metadata. I am trying to add my feedburner feedflare “diggthis, stumble this, etc” to my comments section, but I can’t find the “” or the post metadata section to add the feedburner feedflare script.
On a side note, I am trying to trouble shoot why feedburner feed isnt updating. I have not gotten new stats since I switched to this template, although the feedburner medic and ping say everything is fine.
Thanks and once again, the template roocks.
Just copy the template code in word and use control + f to search for post metadata
There is no code “post MetaData”, its a description
How can you make another of the 125×125 boxes??
I’m sorry for more questions, but I’m really not that familiar with all this. What I’ve done so far is just follow your instructions exactly. 1-you said in previous comment that if want to replace google ad above posts I would need to ad my own code and use your code converter? I think that may be just over my head. How ’bout if I just want to delete it…what exactly should I delete? I really don’t want to mess anything up. 2.I do have other google ads that I placed using Blogger html ad on screen are those ok? 3.The 125 x 125 ads-I relaced one so far, do I need to use that code converter for those too. My one ad I put there shows up and can be clicked on, does that mean I’m ok? Thank you very much for help and template.
thanks for this beautiful template david! π
Hi David, thank you for the answer. Its really help me. Now i just need some preparation before i sign up. So, wish me luck.. Thanks again..!
Tammy its pretty simple. Get your ad from google, copy it and paste it in google adconverter and copy the result and paste it in the html below the post.
I love this template.
I did a little work on the header and it looks amazing.
Thanks π
Thanks for the help. I’ve figure out a little more everyday. Just wondering with this template without that ugly blogger bar at the top are we breaking some blogger rule? I put a blogger buttom on my site, is that good enough….any thoughts?
Eh, Tammy ur not breaking any blogger rule, you dont need to have the blogger bar at the top, there are other ways of removing it. No need to have blogger button as well, any layman can identify your blog is blogger or not.

Hi,
Thanks for great template but I have a problem…I can’t put the date on the post…where is the problem β
Thanks Max
Max, go to setting, formatting, timestamp format and select the 4th one, then it should work.
Hi fas,
I try all the format but nothing happend.. β
Max, you need to try the 3rd, see my blog, the date is working. Try the 3rd one.
Hi Fas,
I try it all, one by one but don’t work…I don’t know what to do…
Max
You should select the third one in formatting.
hey there; awesome template; can’t wait to finalize it. I’m toying with it now on a test blog and I can’t get the right hand columns to match up. Note how they stack on top of each other rather than being aligned (lower right). It appears this way in the Layout view as well. Can you please advise?
Also, anyone expand the size? If there are easy instructions on this, much appreciated.
You rock!
I just left that comment and forgot to include url:
http://everydayblogstory.blogspot.com/
thanks for the template. Do you know how to allow google’s bots to get to the label url’s with this template? They look like this and google isn’t indexing them.

David, can you please tell me why the mybloglog widget keeps moving out of place and going into the fidget widget?
