Yellow Puppies Template

Click to enlarge Yellow Puppies Blogger template

Calling all dog fans, come get the latest and greatest Blogger Yellow Labrador puppy template! This template is an original from your favorite template site, eBlog Templates. It’s a cute dog loving template with three yellow lab puppies wearing red collars posing outside on the grass.

The header also includes dynamic tabs so you can easily add new pages or links to your blog. These won’t show up when you initially install this template. You’ll need to go into the template layout mode and edit the “linkbar” link list widget.

The Blogger template is three columns so there’s plenty of room to add new widgets, ads, or pictures of whatever you want. There’s only one image for this entire template and it’s hosted on our image server. That means you don’t need to separately download any images — just install this new template on your blogspot site and you’ll be sporting the new puppy look!

This template was originally designed by Elque and enhanced for dog enthusiasts by eBlog Templates.

This is just what I’ve been looking for. I already used your adorable cat template and have gotten so many compliments from my readers. Thanks for all your hard work – it is appreciated.

Glad you like the template Chris and I appreciate your comment. There are surprisingly very little pet Blogger templates out there so I figured creating a dog and cat set would be useful. Let me know once you get the puppy template setup on your blog!

Yes, I found that out when I was searching. I have it all set up’ here’s my url http://blog.ourdoglog.com

The only trouble I had was when I tried to put my own picture on the template; I couldn’t seem to control the size of the Blog Title, or the description, but when I removed my picture and let your 3 dog picture in the header, the title and description fonts worked fine. Maybe I did something wrong – I don’t know.
I love the control over color and fonts throughout the template – you really did a nice job – and so much work. Thanks again.
Chris

I love this template, thank you so much.
Can you teach me how to edit the “Linkbar”???

Can you tell me where you find your pictures for the headers, and are they free to use. I’m looking for one that has both a cat and dog together but haven’t found anything. Thanks

@Chris, I use different sites but the puppy header image was from Fotolia. It’s not free but the images are cheap. I think you also get 5 free credits when you sign up which equates to 5 images. Do you not like the 3 golden lab header? hehe

@Vicki, I assume you mean how to create the tabs? It’s quite easy actually. Just go into your Blogger page elements layout screen and edit the “top tabs” widget. There you can create the links which will automatically show up once you save them.

No, I think the 3 pups are adorable. But I’m thinking of combining my cat blog and dog blog into one blog, so I’m trying to find a pic that has both a cat and dog in it. Thanks for the info on Fotolia. I’ll check them out.

I love your templates for Blogger and have tried using the ‘yellow dog’ one for one of my Blogs but I keep getting the following message when I click SAVE TEMPLATE:

:::

We were unable to save your template
Please correct the error below, and submit your template again.
Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
XML error message: The element type “b:includable” must be terminated by the matching end-tag “”.

:::

The element type changes after I try to make the correction, however I not so code savvy and would like to ask for some help from you please.

Cheers

@Sally, make sure you are copying and replacing all the template code. Sometimes people miss part and get similar errors. If it still doesn’t work, let me know.

Hi, I really liked this template, but after setting it up, any of my readers who use Internet Explorer are suddenly unable to see my blog, do you know why this might be?

Couldn’t help but notice you were an animal lover. I wanted to let you in on a great site I found… http://www.nationalanimalindex.com/ This site has excellent resources for animal owners. You can find veterinarians, breeders, and groomers all in your area. Check it out! You will be amazed!

When I look at the file on the browser, this message is displayed

System error: -2146697204. Error processing resource ‘http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd’.

All I see are the codes. What should I do?

Just wondering if there is a way to get the sidebar titles to show capital letters. I have typed in ‘About Us’ but it shows ‘about us’. Thanks for the help
