Rounded Blue for Blogger is a modification of a WordPress theme called Rounded v2 Blue Edition, originally designed by Ghyslain Armand. WordPress version of this beautiful theme can be found at authors blog. You can also get the theme PSD graphics from his blog, and fully customize the template through your needs.

Note: this template is for the older “Classic Template” not the newer xml Blogger template. You also need to host your own images. Instructions are below. Images are now hosted so just download and it’s ready to go!

Main features:
  • Two column layout
  • Recent comments on sidebar
  • Flickr badge on sidebar
  • Integrated Google Sitesearch

This is a free template released under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.5 License. This means that you can use this template for your personal or commercial blog, edit it according to your needs, and even re-distribute it as long as you keep the credit links at footer.

Please read and understand the notes at the end of this page for detailed descriptions of the features of this template before you download and start using it.

Installation:
  1. Download the theme archive package.
  2. Unzip the package and go to images folder. Upload all of the images to a free image host (such as imageshack.us), and write down the given links.
  3. Open theme.txt with a text editor (like notepad), then search for “Theme Images” and “Navigation images” (without quotes).
  4. Replace the image file names with links you have taken from your image host, and then save.
  5. Select all text from theme.txt by pressing CTRL+A, then copy by pressing CTRL+C.
  6. Go to “Blogger dashboard > Template”, and after deleting the old codes, paste your theme code by pressing CTRL+V, then save and republish your blog.

Thanks for template, i had problems with installation, but 1 week ago i repeated the steps and got successful.

I loaded the template, and everything seems to work except the “home” and “previous” .gifs. According to the instructions, I thought I didn’t have to do anything, but I have tried everything – saved the pics myself, had them hosted, and inserted them where the instructions say to, and they still come up as an “x” meaning the picture can’t display.

Help! Any suggestions? Thanks!!!

You can open Html code of this template and use your own pictures (but download them before it, just open sample of this template and download all pictures).

Ok, am I stupid or something? I have tried to download this from this site and bloggertemplates.org, and I keep on getting a really small text document that has stuff like this:

and a few more lines of that kind of thing.

Is it because I’m using a mac? I can get other templates to work, I just can’t open the text file of this one! But I really want to get it to work, it’s really cute.

@ Vaibhav Singh, thanks for your comment – really helped me. I was almost tearing my hair out, with another template. I applied your advice and worked a treat, i didn’t realise you could copy template code into the Classic template section after reverting.
Many thanks
Don

Really good template, but the header-picture is too big. It might be less then 30-35% from height.

Anyway – thanks for this template.
